Rosogulla Payesh

Rosogulla kheer

It is the most popular bengali dessert. It is very quick and super easy to make.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 10 Rosogullas,
    • 1 1/2 liters milk
    • a handful of raisins
    • sugar, if required

     

     

    Directions

    1. Squeeze out the syrup from the rosogullas gently. Keep the syrup aside.
    2. Bring the milk to boil.
    3. Add the rosogullas, one at a time. Simmer for 10 minutes till the rosogullas increase in size and the milk becomes thick.
    4. Now gently add the syrup of the rosogullas.
    5. Let it boil for another 5 minutes.
    6. Add raisins just before removing it from heat. Serve hot or cold.

    for those who don't know....rosogulla n rosogulla payesh r two different sweets!! rosogulla payesh is mre like rosogulla wid milk instead of sugar syrup!! like kala jamun n gulab jamun!!
