This is a perfect dessert to serve your guests in IDD.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
1 cup vermicelli
1/2 litre milk (fresh)
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
5 tbsps sugar
Chopped nuts. (almonds,pisatas)
1 tbsps sultanas
Few strands of kesar
Directions
Break vermicelli into small pieces and roast lightly in a pan (without fat) on low heat till light brown.
Add fresh milk ,sugar and cardamom powder,mix well and cook on low heat , stirring all the time, till very little milk remains, add kesar and condensed milk, continue cooking till slightly thick.
Transfer into serving bowl, and garnish with chopped nuts and sultanas.
