Directions
- Boil and peel potatos.
- Chop onion, tomato and green chilly.
- Mash potatos and add all ingredients except cumin seeds, hing and deshi ghee. Mix them well.
- Heat ghee in a serving spoon put jeera and heeng to crackle. Add this to bharta and mix well.
- It is ready to serve.
- If you are making it for children then avoid chillies and add 1 tsp melted butter to make it more healthy. Little grated cheese can also be added.
You can also use this bharta as filling to make grilled potato sandwiches.
