Tava Roast Chicken

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1 Chicken cut into 8 pieces
    • 2 tbsp Dhania powder
    • 2 tsp shahi jeera
    • 20 flakes garlic
    • 4 tsp  ginger (chopped)
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 1 tsp chaat masala
    • 4 green chilly
    • 1 tsp red chilly powder
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice
    • 2 tsp malt vinegar
    • 3 tomatoes
    • 10 peeled baby potatoes
    • salt, water and 2 tbsp oil.

    Directions

    1. Dry roast coriander powder and  shahi jeera.
    2. Now mix all other ingredients and make a paste.
    3. Rub this paste on chicken and marinate chicken for 2 hours in fridge.
    4. Deep fry peeled baby potatoes. Set aside.
    5. Heat oil in a thick bottomed tava, add chicken with marinade. Cook it on high flame for few minutes then cook for 10 minuts on slow fire with lid closed.
    6. Now turn the chicken, add tomatoes (cut in 4 pieces) and fried potatoes and cook for another 10 minuts with closed lid.
    7. Cook till masala sticks to chicken.
    8. sprinkle little chaat masala and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
