A simple sidedish that is crunchy on one side and soft on the other side
Ingredients
non vegetarian 2 servings
10 slices White Bread, toasted quarters
¼ cup Chicken, small pieces
¼ cup Onion, chopped
2 nos. Green Chilies
1 tsp Ginger, grated
Salt to taste
½ cup Milk
½ tbsp All Purpose Flour
½ tbsp Butter
Directions
First of all put oil in a pan and saute the onion, ginger, chillies and chicken. Season with salt and pepper.
For white sauce
Melt butter in a pan and combine maida, milk, Salt and pepper. Optionally you can add some parmesan cheese. Cook until thick.
Mix with chicken and transfer into a casserole. Arrange toasted bread cubes on top and bake about 5-10 minutes at 180 C. Broil the top till it turns brown.
Serve decorated with tomato slices and mint leaves.
