Crunchy chicken

A simple sidedish that is crunchy on one side and soft on the other side

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings

  • 10 slices White Bread, toasted quarters
  • ¼ cup Chicken, small pieces
  • ¼ cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 nos. Green Chilies
  • 1 tsp Ginger, grated
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • ½ tbsp Butter

Directions

  1. First of all put oil in a pan and saute the onion, ginger, chillies and chicken. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. For white sauce
    Melt butter in a pan and combine maida, milk, Salt and pepper. Optionally you can add some parmesan cheese. Cook until thick.
  3. Mix with chicken and transfer into a casserole. Arrange toasted bread cubes on top and bake about 5-10 minutes at 180 C. Broil the top till it turns brown.
  4. Serve decorated with tomato slices and mint leaves.
