Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 250 g semolina(suji)
    • 350g oil
    • 250g Potatoes (boiled)
    • garlic paste, ginger paste, red chilli paste, jeera, golki paste--according to wish.
    • tomato sauce
    • salt--to taste.


    1. Boil 250ml of water and add a pinch of salt. Add suji in boiling water and stir. Set aside to cool.
    2. Heat oil in a different pan. Add all paste of the spices and fry it till it gets brown.
    3. Add boiled potatoes in the mixture and mash it. Remove it from fire.
    4. Make the suji mixture into small balls and then fill the potato mixture in the balls.
    5. Take a pan and add the remaining oil and then deep fry the balls of suji and wait it to be brown.
    6. Serve with tomato sauce.



    I have the same query as Kanaga...what exactly is golki paste?? cud u plz be kind enuff to clarify??

    It will be gud if we call this recipe as suji balls b'se poori is something that is rolled on roller .anyway recipe is good
