Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 4 to 5 carrots
    • 1 liter milk
    • 2 cup sugar
    • badam (almonds) blanched and peeled
    • a few strands of kesar



    1. Boil carrots in a cooker
    2. Grind carrots with almonds.
    3. Add carrots and badam paste to milk .
    4. Boil mixture for 5 minutes.
    5. Add sugar and boil till milk thickens.
    6. Add saffron(kesar) dipped in cold milk.
    7. Chill milk and serve cold.
    8. You can garnish the drink with sliced pistas.
    9. Can reduce the quantity of sugar depending on sweetness of carrots.
