Peas & Mint Soup

Perfect Soup for winter.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup Fresh Peas(boiled)
    • 12 leaves of Mint
    • 1 Onion (chopped)
    • 3 cloves of Garlic
    • 1 tsp White Pepper powder
    • 1 cup Milk
    • 2 tsp Vegetable Oil
    • Salt to taste
    • 1/2 cup Boiled Corn nibblets

    Directions

    1. Heat Oil in a kadai & add in Onion. Fry for 3-5 mins.
    2. In a blender, grind boiled Peas, Mint leaves & Garlic to a fine paste with little water.
    3. Add the ground mixture to the Onions & boil for 5 mins.
    4. Once again grind the Peas & Onion mixture in blender for 1 min.
    5. Pour back into the pot. Add Salt & White pepper powder. Boil for 10 mins.
    6. Add the Milk & mix well. Remove from heat. Serve in a soup boil garnished with Corn nibblets.

    NOTE: Corn nibblets can be replaced with fresh cream also.
