Yummy Chicken Curry

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

  • 2 lbs. Chicken
  • 2 nos. Tomato
  • 2 nos. Onion
  • 4 nos. Green Chilies
  • 1 tbsp Raw Cream
  • 1 tbsp Yoghurt
  • ½ tsp Ginger
  • ½ tsp Garlic
  • ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Coriander powder
  • Lime juice to taste, for sourness
  • Cilantro for garnishing
  • Tomato for garnishing, sliced
  • Onion for garnishing, sliced


  1. Grind the onions, chillies, milk cream and curds. Grind the tomatoes separately.
  2. In a cooker, heat 1 tsp of oil and when it is hot, add the ginger garlic paste and the onion paste.
  3. Let it cook for few minutes and now add the tomato paste. Let the mixture come to a boil and then add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and dhania-jeera powder and lastly the salt for taste.
  4. Let these masalas blend well and then add the chicken pieces.
  5. Let it pressure cook for about 3-4 whistles and then before serving, add the vinegar or lime and then garnish with corianders, tomatoes and onions.
  6. Serve with rotis or rice but serve hot.
