Raw Mango Dhamaka

With all kinds of taste, sweety, soury, salty and spicy

A wonderful side dish which goes well with lunch or dinner, can be eaten with rice too

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 big raw mangoes (should be little soury)
    • 8-10 Green chilies
    • 1  tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
    • salt to taste
    • 1/4 tsp sugar
    • 1 tsp oil
    • a pinch of hing
    • 1/4 tsp mustard

    Directions

    1. Peel of the skin of mangoes, pressure cook for one whistle with 1 cup of water and green chillies
    2. Strain the water, mash green chillies and mangoes
    3. Fry cumin and fenugreek seed till they leave aroma and make a fine powder.
    4. Add the powder to mashed green chillies and mangoes.
    5. Heat oil in a small pan , add mustard wait till splutters, add hing.
    6. Add the tadka and sugar to the mashed mangoes. mix thoroughly
    7. Raw mango dhamaka is ready to relish.
