Paneer sweet bhurji

Do not use paneer thats commercially avilable

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • Milk -1 liter
    • 1 cup Sugar
    • 2 Cardamoms (powdered)
    • Saffron sprigs [optional]
    • 2 tsp Ghee
    • 2 tsp Lime juice

    Directions

    1. Boil milk until creamy then add the lemon juice wait until the milk splits completely & again boil it for 3-4 minutes then cool it stain all the water using a tea strainer and now the paneer is ready.
    2. In another heavy bottomed pan, add sugar then add the paneer that we had prepared then let the sugar melt.
    3. When the sugar melts the paneer again becomes watery, let the paneer boil in the sugar syrup until reduced to half the quantity and the paneer slightly dry.
    4. Now add the cardamom powder and ghee now fry it till the paneer is completely and forms into small balls like then cool and serve.

    no doubt it is yummy.now if you mash paneer sweet bhurji and give shape dividing in portion it is called sandesh in Bengal. you can add flavour of your choice and also dry fruit, rose petal to make more gorgeous. thank you.

    Sry everybody here i have mentioned saffron as optional but havent mentioneed about the step to add it you will have to add it soaked in a tablespoon of milk soon as u add the cardamom powder.So that it gives good flavour.
