Almond Fudge

A delicious treat for sweet lovers.

Ingredients vegetarian 20 servings

  • 1 cup Almonds
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Clarified Butter

Directions

  1. Soak the almonds overnight.
  2. Grind the almonds to a paste using milk.
  3. Heat the butter in a heavy bottomed vessel, add the almond paste and sugar.
  4. Keep mixing this mixture on low heat till it starts leaving the sides of the vessel.
  5. Remove from heat and spread on a greased tray and allow it to cool.
  6. After it cools , you can cut it out into desired shapes.

I have been trying so many badham burfi recipes, unfortunately, am not getting cake consistency. From ammas.com, i saw the same recipe which is pure white in color. Can u pls tell me how and also suggest me how long i have to stir all the ingredients, atleast app.,? thanks
