Sooji Triangles

This is a savoury sooji dish

It is a healthy dish because it is steamed,and you can cook instantly for unexpected guests.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 1 cup sooji(semolina)
    • 2 tsps ginger,garlic paste.
    • 1 tsp enos fruit salt.
    • A handfull of corriander leaves.
    • 1/2 tsp sugar.
    • salt.
    • sesame seeds.
    • 1/2 lemon.
    • 2 tbsps of yogurt.
    • few crushed peppercorns.

    Directions

    1. Take sooji in a dish,add all ingredients except,enos ,sesame seeds,and peppercorns.
    2. Mix it to get a dropping consistencybatter,add more yogurt if need be.
    3. Add enos, mix it.(enos should be added when the water starts boiling) pour in a greased thali (take a big thali so that you can get thin base),sprinkle sesame seeds and crushed peppercorns.steam immediately like dhokla.
    4. Leave it to cool.and cut into triangles.
    5. Serve them with green chutney.
