Jowar Ki Chapati

Full breakfast with curd/dal

A winter time recipe. Gives warmth to the body. Heavy enough to be a full meal.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

  • 1 no. Onion, medium, chopped
  • 2 nos. Green Chilies, chopped
  • 2 nos. Garlic, cloves, paste
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, chopped, approx.
  • 1 piece Ginger, paste
  • 2 tbsps. Clarified Butter
  • Salt to taste

Jowar Flour 125gms Milk and water to knead dough

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients into the flour and knead a dough of the mixture.
  2. Use milk,ghee and water for kneading.
  3. Make two/three balls out of it.
  4. Spread a butter paper on the roll board, roll the balls like chapati but not thin.
  5. Roast on tava till brown adding oil as needed on sides.
  6. Do not turn very often as it may break.
  7. Serve with curd or dal.

very nice recipe. it tastes very good with fresh green garlic

its really good to taste but careful otherwise it brake on tawa
