Mango Dessert

A delicious mango desert cooked with china grass instead of gelatin.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 3 Mangoes cut into pieces
    • 2 small cups Cream
    • Sugar according to taste
    • 1 cup Mango Pulp
    • 1-2 drops Vanilla Essence
    • ¼ packet China Grass Powder
    • 1 litre milk
    • 2 tbsp Custard Powder {Vanilla}

    Directions

    1. Boil milk and add sugar and boil till sugar melts.
    2. Take in small bowl of cold water and then add China grass powder and custard powder to it.  Mix and pour into boiled milk. Stir continuously.
    3. Bring to boil once again stirring it all the time. If you stop stirring, lumps might form. Let it cool.
    4. In a large bowl put the mango pieces below then add the boiled milk to it.
    5. Blend cream, sugar and vanilla essence till it froths.
    6. Blend the mango pulp. Now add the mango pulp first then the cream and last add the mango pieces for decoration in the large bowl.
    7. Now refrigerate it for maximum 4 hrs. Serve cold.

    Hi,The receipe seems to be good but can u tell me what is china grass powder and is there an alternative for it.
