Paneer Pudding

A great easy way to cook dessert

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

  • 1 cup Indian Cottage Cheese
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsps. Corn Flour
  • 1 cup Pistachios, soaked and chopped


  1. Make a thin sugar syrup with water (2 cups) and sugar.
  2. Add grated paneer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add vanilla essence, milk and cornflour (mixed with water) and let it cook till it thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and transfer to bowl and garnish with chopped pistachios.
  5. Referigerate for 2-3 hours.
serve chilled




Sounds interesting and easy to make, I will definately try.


I made this in my last party and everybody enjoyed it the most... just added orange colour and more nut to it.... just a suggestion could add little mawa also ....


This is a definite winner on a party list. Tasted this dessert, made by a close friend. Its just delicious. It would deserve more than a 5 star rating !!!
