Chinese Veg Fried Rice

Chinese Veg Fried Rice with an Indian twist and its so easy even a kid can make it. It just takes 15 minutes to cook, what more you can ask for a busy weekday dinner or lunch.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 3 cups boil rice
    • 4 tsp. of Soy Sauce (low sodium-optional)
    • 4 tsp. of Vinegar
    • ½ tsp. of Red chili powder
    • 1 cup Mix vegetables
    • 1 tsp. of Cumin seeds
    • 2 tsp. of Oil


    1. Heat oil in non stick pan and add cumin seeds.
    2. When seeds splutter add mixed vegetables.
    3. Fry the vegetables just for a very little time and then add red chili powder.
    4. Then add Boil rice and let them fry for five minutes.
    5. Now add Soy sauce and Vinegar.
    6. Garnish with fresh chopped scallions /green onions



    you could also try adding shredded cooked chicken to this dish for meat lovers........taste awesome
