Bheja Pakoras

Pakoras of goat brain.

Very easy and delicious.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 Kg goats brain(bheja)
    • salt.
    • 2 tbsps green chilly paste.
    • 2 tbsps garam masala powder.
    • 1 lemon.
    • oil for deep frying.
    • 1 1/2 tbsps ginger garlic paste.
    • Bread crumbs.
    FOR THE BATTER;
    • 1 egg.
    • 1 tsp black pepper powder.
    • 3 tbsps white flour.

    Directions

    1. Wash brain very carefully, you might find small pieces of bones in between, remove them.
    2. Put it in a pot. add lemon ,ginger,garlic paste.and salt.cook till dry, don't stir while it is cooking. otherwise it will get minced. You can just turn it .
    3. Add garam masala powder and mix carefully.
    4. To prepare a batter, beat egg, add 3 tbsps of water.black pepper powder and white flour, mix it,the batter should not be watery.
    5. Heat oil, take brain piece, dip in batter, roll in bread crumbs and fry till golden brown, dry on kitchen paper.
    6. Serve with sauce.
