Curd adds the tangy taste to this spicy recipe, serve this dish as a wholemeal with chapatis or rice.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
8-10 baby potatoes
2 cup curd
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp coriander powder
Handful chopped fresh coriander
salt to taste
3 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ground cumin seeds
2 sliced green chilies
1 tsp sugar
Directions
Boil the potatoes in a salted water. remove the skin & keep them aside.
Take a medium bowl. mix together curd, turmeric, chilly powder,salt, ground coriander ,ground cumin & sugar.
Add 2 cup water, mix it properly.
Heat a pan with oil, add cumin seeds, once crackle pour the curd mixture, stir continuously & cook for 5 min on medium heat(keep string otherwise curd gravy may start getting separate )
Add coriander, chopped chillies & cooked potatoes. mix it well & cook further for 5 min.
Before serving garnish with coriander leaves & serve.
