this is an easy to make but traditional dish.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup Rice
    • 1 cup grated coconut
    • 5-6 cardamoms
    • 2 cups jaggery
    • 2 cups ghee

     

    Directions

    1. soak rice for about 2 hours then drain water add grated coconut & cardamom to it & grind into coarse paste
    2. then in a thick bottom pan take about 1/2 cup of water boil it add jaggery to it make a 1 thread consistency syrup
    3. now add the rice  mixture to the jaggery syrup & keep stirring it & make sure dat it dosent stick to the bottom of the pan & add ghee after about 2 mins then cook until the mixture leaves out of the pan then just to check if its ready you can dip ur hand into cold water & touch the rice mixture to check if done & if the mixture dosent stick to ur hands then which means that it is done.
    4. grease a plate with some ghee & spread the mixture on the plate let cool for 5 minutes then cut into desired shapes & serve garnished with nuts.

    pravina it can me made of wheat as well as rice i have mentioned coconut only if you can see it there. When you are commenting please know if this is a recipe that exists. May be your style of making it is different & mine could be a different one so please do not comment on anybodys recipes until your sure about dat.

    This is not right, need wheat right and therevis no mentiopn of coconut milk
