Mince with green masala

A dish from Afghanistan

Ingredients non vegetarian 6 servings

  • 1 kg Minced Meat, lamb or mutton
  • 12 nos. Green Chilies
  • bunch Ginger, small piece
  • 6 nos. Spring Onion
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsps. Garlic, paste
  • 4 cups Vegetable Oil
  • 2 nos. Onion
  • 1 cup Tomato, paste
  • Salt to taste


  1. Mix green chilies, ginger, spring onion, gralic and salt into the mince and leave it for two hours to marinate.
  2. Shape into long kabobs and deep fry until its brown.
  3. Heat a cup of oil and fry onion with tomato paste and red chili powder.
  4. Add all kababs into the paste for 5 minutes before serving.
Serving suggestion: Naan with onion salad.
