Aloo ke parathay

A different method of a popular parantha

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 potato (boiled and mashed)
    • Salt to taste
    • 1/2 tsp red chilli or to taste
    • 1/2 tsp green chilli paste
    • 1 small onion chopped
    • 1 cup white flour
    • 1/2 cup wheat flour
    • Ghee to cook paratha

    Directions

    1. Mix red chilli, green chilli and onion into mashed potato, adjust salt to tast
    2. In a bowl, add both flours, some salt and 1 tbsp ghee
    3. Crumble it, now add mashed potato in it and rub with your hand. Knead it into soft dough using water
    4. Keep for half an hour in fridge
    5. Now make small balls of dough and make paratha
    6. Heat gridle apply some ghee to it and put paratha on it.
    7. Apply ghee to both sides. Cook till brown and crispy
    8. Serve with chutney

    if u add roasted cumin powder and chopped mint leaves so the taste will be more good.

    to dear farhat, hi iam from muslim family and i have my 2 sister daughters they always use to request me to make aloo ke parathay for them, but i was unawear how to make but just for u only iam able to fulfil they wish, thanks for your recipe, i love them alot and thanks farhat..................
