Green chicken fry

chicken prepared by dahi and dhania

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 500gm of chicken
    • 2-3 bunches of dhania leaves
    • 2 tsp of lemon juice
    • 2 medium sized onions
    • 1 inch ginger
    • 1 tomato
    • salt to taste
    • half cup of milk
    • 1 tsp of green chillie paste
    • 1 cup of dahi

    Directions

    1. Make a paste of Dhania leaves, green chillies, ginger,and tomatoes.
    2. Now marinate the chicken with the above paste , dahi  and salt for atleat 3 hrs.
    3. Put  oil in a wok and fry the chicken with all the paste in it.
    4. Put the milk and salt if require and boil the chicken till it is done.
    5. lastly put the lemon juice in it .
    6. Serve hot with parathas or chapatties

    How much oil to be used? you forgot to mention.

    Instead of making a paste of the green ingredients I chopped and added it, even the onions. It does make a difference and quite tasty. Thanks

    sorry ,i forgot to mention that onion paste has to be added during the marinaton.
