Yummy Oats

A healthy and nutricious recipe as well as tasty.

Ingredients vegetarian 1 servings

    • 1 cup Oats
    • Water (per requirement)
    • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
    • ¾ tsp Green Chilli paste
    • 1 tbsp Jeera powder
    • Salt, to taste
    • ¼ cup Diced tomates
    • Capsicum, Chopped and without seeds, optional
    • Coriander, for garnish


    1. Bring water to boil in a saucepan.
    2. As soon as the water boils, add the oats and cook for about 4 - 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    3. While the oats are still on flame, add the salt, jeera powder and green chilli paste.
    4. Remove the oats from the flame and let them cool for 2 minutes.
    5. Now add the lemon juice, diced tomatoes and the capsicum.
    6. Mix well.
    7. Garnish with corinader. Serve immdeiately.
