Kathi Kabab

Little bit spicy and tangy!

Mutton can be substituted with chicken

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • 400 g Mutton, boneless
    • Potatoes
    • Black Pepper, as requirement
    • Salt, as per requiremnt
    • 1 Egg
    • Kabab Sticks
    • Green Chillies
    • Oil for frying


    1. Cube the mutton, and boil it with green chilli and salt, till it's tender or till no water remains.
    2. Boil the potatoes, then cube them.
    3. Now, take a kabab stick and put in one by one a piece of mutton and a piece of potato.
    4. Do this for all the sticks.
    5. Now in a bowl, beat an egg.
    6. Dip the prepared kabab sticks in the egg.
    7. Now smear the kabab sticks with salt and pepper.
    8. Heat oil in a pan.
    9. Fry till brown.
    10. Serve hot with tamarind chutney!



    Sounds really good. Dont u think marinating the mutton cubes in raw papaya paste for 1 hr and then shallow frying them would be a better option than to boil them?
