Banana Date Milkshake

A bunch of dates after meals is good for health. try this and drop your comments.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 2 soft and ripe bananas
    • de-seeded dates - 10 no.s
    • 2 glasses of milk
    • raisins - 1 handful (clean and soaked in hot water for 5 mins)
    • Honey - 2 tsp
    • yoghurt (not curd) - 1 cup
    • saffron - a pinch
    • ice cubes - 3 no.s
    • sugar - 1 tbsp
    • cashews(crushed) - 2 tsp

    Directions

    1. Blend the bananas  with the milk first then add dates, raisins, yoghurt,  honey,sugar, ice cubes and blend well.
    2. Pour this milkshake into 2 glasses.
    3. Top it with crushed cashews and saffron.
    4. refrigerate for 15 mins only.
    5. this will taste good if served after 15 mins (not after that).

    Banana pieces should not exceed 1 1/2 cup and 2 glasses of milk = 4 cups of milk.

    You can add Soya milk - 1 cup instead of Yoghurt which will make this drink more nutritious.
