Country Style Lamb

Simple Lamb Dish

Not my own recipe, I found it somewhere but it is simple and nice.

Ingredients non vegetarian 6 servings

  • 1 kg Meat, lamb or goat
  • 2 nos. Onion
  • 3 nos. Green Chilies
  • 1 tsp Garlic, paste
  • 1 tbsp All spice powder
  • 3 tbsps. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsps. Lime juice


  1. Pressure cook lamb with quarter cup of water and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a cooking pan, add the chopped onions, chillies and fry till the onion turns brown. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for another 3 minutes.
  3. Now add the cooked lamb (don't throw the water)
  4. Add salt and chilli powder. Cook till the water has almost evaporated.
  5. Then add garam masala and mix well and remove from heat.
  6. Let it cool a little and sprinkle lemon juice just before serving.
