steamed prawn

prawn with coconut and mustard

It tastes awesome with steam rice.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1 cup of grated coconut
    • 1/2 cup of white mustard paste (sarso paste)
    • 250gm of medium sized prawn
    • ½ tsp of haldi
    • 4 green chillies
    • 4 tbsp of mustard oil
    • salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Make the paste of mustard along with 2 green chillies.
    2. Mix grated cocounut, haldi ,mustard paste along with the raw prawns into a tiffin box.
    3. Now put salt, and 3 tbsp of mustard oil into it. Also add 2  sliced green chillies and add to it.
    4. Now put the tiffin box in a steamer or in a kadai filled with water and steam it for atleast 25 min or till it is done.
    5. Before serving it ,put 1 tsp of mustard oil into it.
