Potato Cake

Here is a delicious recipe of a potato cake!

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    4-5 big potatoes boiled and mashed 1 grated carrot 1/4th cup groundnuts powdered 1 cup boiled corns or peas 1/4th cup bread crumbs 1 teaspoon chilli-ginger paste salt to taste sugar to taste juice of 1/2 lemon or citric acid 1/3rd cup sabudana soaked in water 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder 2-3 tablespoon green chutney 2-3 tablespoon tomato sauce For the Chowk: 2 tablespoon oil 1 tablespoon urad dal 8-10 curry pattas 3-4 green chilliies

    Directions

    1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add 1 cup boiled corns or peas, 1 tsp chilli-ginger paste, salt and sugar to taste, juice of 1/2 lemon or citric acid. Mix well and cook.
    2. Mix Salt, Sabudana and groundnuts. Grease a 8 inch ring mould. Spread 1 grated carrot, sprinkle bread crumbs. Give chowk in the mashed potatoes.
    3. Spread half of the potato mixture. Make a layer of green chutney. Place corns/peas on it.
    4. Spread tomato sauce and cover with remaining potato mixture. Cover with Sabudana and Groundnuts.
    5. Bake in pre-heated oven at 200 degree centigrade for 20-25 minutes or till golden brown.
    6. Cool. Unmould it on a plate and serve. Goes well with soft drinks.
