Ingredients
non vegetarian 2 servings
3 medium size fish pieces ( king fish or pompfret)
2 medium sized tomatoes made into fine puree
2 tbspn of yoghurt
3 cups of corriander leaves
2-3 strings of methi leaves
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 small piece of ginger
3 green chillies
Half tspn of turmeric powder
1/4 tspn of corriander powder(dhaniya powder)
salt to taste
cooking oil
Directions
Marinate the fish with salt and a pinch turmeric powder .
keep the fish aside for an hour.
Chop corriander and methi leaves, ginger, garlic and green chillies. Donot make it into a fine paste.
Take a kadai add oil and the above masala cook it for 5 min and then add tomato puree, yoghurt, turmeric, red chilly and dhaniya powder, and salt.
Cook it till oil seperates.
Finally add fish and cook it for another 5 min with this masala, add 1 glass of water, sim the gas flame and cook till the fish becomes soft and tender
Serve with Chapati or Naan.
NOTE: For eggetarians....they can use boiled eggs instead of the fish with the same gravy.
