Tomato Rasam

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • ½ tsp Mustard seeds (Rai)
    • ½ Cumin seeds (Jeera)
    • 2 tbsp Basan (Gram flour)
    • 4-5 Tomatoes pure
    • 2 Green chilies
    • ½ tsp Haldi (turmeric powder)
    • ½ tsp Red Chilies powder
    • ½ tsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1 tsp Coriander powder
    • Salt to taste
    • Coriander leaves
    • Curry leaves
    • 2-3 tbsp cooking oil

    Directions

    1. Take oil in kadai, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chilies and curry leaves.
    2. Add besan still well until reddish.
    3. Now add tomatoes, red chilies, salt, coriander powder and haldi stir well.
    4. Add around 2 glass of water or as required, bring it to boil.
    5. Add coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.
