Parotta takes in a lot of oil even while making the dough. but is the most sought after breads exclusive to the southern kitchens....try it with any non veg gravies of your choice!!
Ingredients
non vegetarian 4 servings
2 cups maida
2 eggs
1/4 cup vegatable oil
1/2 tsp salt
a little water
Directions
Beat the eggs together.
mix all the ingredients together with the eggs in large vessel and make into a soft dough adding the oil too.
adjust the water just enough to make your dough.
beat the entire dough on a clean kitchen table or surface so that the dough is extented till it makes it very soft.
make small balls enough for your parotta size.
roll with pin and pull from two ends and roughly fold.
roll again to make a slightly round shape using oil.
toss and cook on tava on both sides.
soon after u remove beat the parotta with your palms when hot to get the layers.
