Palak Patties

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 3 medium-sized Potatoes (boiled and mashed)
    • 1 1/2 bowls palak (chopped)
    • 1/2 bowl paneer (grated)
    • 6 tbsp white flour(maida)
    • 1 tsp Amchur powder
    • 1 tsp red chilly powder
    • 2 tsp garam masala (MDH kitchen king masala would be more preferable)
    • salt to taste
    • oil for frying


    1. Peel off the skin of boiled potatoes and mesh them.
    2. Add palak, paneer, salt, amchur powder, red chilly powder, garam masala and 4 tblsp white flour(maida) to the meshed potatoes and mix well.
    3. now take small portion of the mixture and shape into small balls or else the shape you would want. if you find the mixture sticky while shaping, take some white flour in your hands.
    4. Roll the balls over the remaining white flour and fry them on a medium flame till golden brown.
    5. serve hot either with tomato sauce or green chutney.
