Tamarind chutney

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup tamarind
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 2 tsp cumin powder
    • 1tsp chilli powder
    • 1 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
    • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
    • 2 cups hot water

    Directions

    1. soak tamarind in hot water mash it and keep it aside for half n hour
    2. after that mash it again
    3. strain it take out all the pulp
    4. add all the other ingredients
    5. taste it and u can add more sugar or less
