Peanut and Sesame rice

A quick rice!!

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 200 gms cooked rice
    • 2 tblsp peanuts
    • 2 tsps sesame
    • 4 tsps grated coconut
    • 4-5 whole red chillies
    • 1 tsp mustard seeds
    • ½ tsp channa dal
    • ½ tsp urud dal
    • ½ tsp turmeric
    • salt to taste
    • few curry leaves


    1. Dry roast the peanuts and powder them in a mortar coarsely.
    2. also dry roast the sesame and powder
    3. Again dry roast the red chillies and the grated coocnut and powder them in a mixer.
    4. Heat kadai and season with mustard, curry leaves, channa dal and urud dal.
    5. add a little turmeric and salt.
    6. add in the rice and stir well mixing all the powders.
    7. serve hot.
