Dahi Potato Vada

Its very spicy and tasty.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

    • 6-7 medium sized potatoes boiled
    • Coriander leaves
    • green chillies
    • salt to taste
    • 1 cup curd
    • ½ tsp jeera powder
    • oil to fry


    1. Smash the potatoes in such a way that we can make small balls
    2. grind corriender leaves, chillies, and add some salt to taste
    3. batter the curd adding jeera powder and keep it aside (do not add sugar in the curd)
    4. pat the balls on the palm and fill the corriender leaves and chilly paste in it and close the same (like puran poli)
    5. after the sane is ready heat the pan with 2-3 spoon oil
    6. slowly pot the balls in the pan as it sticks to the pan.
    7. shallow fry it till it becomes light brown
    8. add the battered curd to the pan and mix very lightly so that the balls do not break.
    9. For garnish add finely chopped corriender leaves.
    10. Serve it hot
