Lemon Rasam

this is a tasty rasam,a new type and new taste.cook and you will realize

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 3 red chillies
    • 1tsp cumin/jeera
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tsp coriander seeds
    • 3 tbsp boiled toor dhal
    • 2 tomatoes
    • 1/2 lemon
    • 1/2 tsp mustard
    • 1/2 tsp curry leaves and coriander leaves each
    • a pinch of turmeric powder
    • a pinch of hing
    • salt to taste

     

    • ½ tsp Spice

    Directions

    1. Add mashed dhal and 3 cups  of water to a pan
    2. add mashed tomato,turmeric powder,salt and hing
    3. powder the first four ingredients,nicely
    4. add this to the dhal
    5. add 1/2 cup of water and let it boil for 3 minutes
    6. remove from fire and add curry,coriander leaves
    7. when the rasam gets cooled up,add the squeezed lemon and stir well
    8. season with mustard.
