Potato Bread Chat

Potato & bread with Mint chutney

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 2 Potatoes (boiled, de-skined & cut into bite size pieces)
    • 3 slices of White Bread (toasted & cut into 1/4 inch pieces)
    • 1 medium Onion (chopped)
    • 1 Tomato (chopped)
    • 3 tsp Vegetable Oil
    • 2 tbsp Mint & Coriander paste (1/2 bunch of each)
    • 1 tsp Sweet chutney (tamarind & date)
    • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
    • 2 tsp Lemon juice
    • Salt to taste
    • Cilantro & Plain Sev for garnish

    Directions

    1. Heat Oil in a kadai. Add boiled Potatoes & fry for a minute.
    2. Add Mint & Coriander paste, Red chilli powder, Cumin powder & Salt. Mix well for 2 mins.
    3. Remove from heat, add toasted Bread pieces & Sweet chutney. Mix well & remove to a serving plate.
    4. Top it with Lemon juice, chopped Onion, tomato, Sev & Cilantro. Serve immediately.
