Potato Dosa

Instant Dosa with potatoes

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 1 Potato
    • ½ cup Maida
    • ½ cup Rice Flour
    • 1 Chilli
    • 3/4 tbsp Chilli Powder
    • 1/4 tbsp Jeera
    • ½ tb sp Salt
    • Corainder Leaves


    1. Grate the potato and mix along with 1/4 tbsp of chilli powder
    2. Mix maida and rice flour with water to a batter consistency (not too thick)
    3. Add 1/2 tb sp of chilli powder, chilli finely chopped, jeera, corainder leaves, potato, salt and mix well.
    4. Pour as thick dosa.
    5. Serve with sauce or chutney.

    Note: A little curd can be mixed along for the batter.




    Yes, the grated potato can be micro-waved for 1-2 minutes or can also be slightly sauted in a pan to remove the rawness of the potato.
