Masala Bhindi

Masaledaar Bhindi

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • ½ kg Bhindi / Okra chopped diagonally
    • 1 big onion chopped vertically
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tsp of red chili powder
    • 1 tsp of garam masala
    • 1 tsp of turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp of amchoor/mango powder
    • Oil


    1. Heat 2 tbsp of Oil in a non stick pan on a medium heat.
    2. Add Onions to sauté them till golden brown color.
    3. Now add Bhindi to cook them and turn into light brown color.
    4. When the bhindi is half cooked add salt and other spices.
    5. Mix it well and let them cook till 5-10 minutes.

    try adding some methi seeds to the oil before adding the bhindi, it tastes better.
