Coconut Dates Laddu

Laddu made with grated coconut ,dates, dryfruits and nuts

Very tasty sweet to try at home ,which takes 5-6 mins cooking time only. You can add soaked(3 mins) rice flakes(Aval)-1 tbsp instead of suji, which is good for health too.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup grated coconut
    • 1/2 cup dated -deseeded and chopped finely
    • 1 tbsp suji(rava) or rice flakes(Aval) soaked for 3 mins
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1 tbsp crushed Jaggery
    • (75 gm) 1/4 cup ghee
    • 10 chopped almonds
    • 10 chopped cashewnuts
    • 10 chopped pista
    • 15 raisins

    Directions

    1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan.
    2. Add grated coconut,sugar and jaggery and mix well till sugar and jaggery melts.
    3. Add suji(rava) or soaked rice flakes.Mix well for 2 mins only and turn off the flame. Let it cool for 15 mins.
    4. Add chopped dates,chopped cashewnuts,chopped pista and raisins.Mix well.
    5. Shape them into Lemon-sized round balls.
    6. Coconut-Dates Laddu is ready to be served.
