Lemon juice is given as welcoming drink in most of the tamilian houses.It is a thirst quencher & great drink in summer.My mom prepares & store it in fridge for 2 mnths.
Note:some add pinch of salt while serving the juice.Lemon nos.may be added or reduced depending on the size of it.but it should be 1 cup lemon juice.can add lemon zest for flavour.

three things that may turn the syrup bitter,1.if the lemons are not washed and wiped 2.squeezed toomuch.3.when it is hot syrup u could have poured. as and when u took squeezed did u taste if its bitter or not.i made it now also its good.please try.
hey rajeswari...i stored the prepared syrup but it turned bitter when i took it our for use...can u tell what must have went wrong?
