Tomato Omlet (Variation)

Vegetarian version of Besan & Tomato

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 3/4 cup Besan
    • 1/4 cup Maida
    • 2 tblsp fine Rava
    • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
    • 1 cup chopped Tomato
    • 1 cup chopped Onion
    • 4 finely chopped Green Chillies
    • 1/4 cup chopped Cilantro (coriander leaves)
    • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
    • Salt to taste


    1. Mix Besan, Maida, Rava & Turmeric powder. Add little Salt & make smooth batter. It should be dosa batter consistency. 
    2. Heat a non-stick griddle. Pour a ladle of batter & spread it like a dosa but little thick.
    3. On top, spread Onion, Tomato, Green Chillies & Cilantro. Put some oil on top & sides. Turn to the other side and roast for 2 mins. Serve hot with Tomato sauce or any chutney.
