Ingredients
non vegetarian 4 servings
1 kg chicken
1 medium sized onion
1 medium tomato
1 tsp saunf
4-5 tsps copra
1 tsp poppy seeds
2 inches of ginger
8 pods of garlic
3-4 cloves
1 inch cinnamon
5-6 casews
1 tsp dhaniya
4 tsps of red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric
salt to taste
a bunch of coriander
Directions
Dry roast saunf, poppy seeds, cashew, cloves, cinnamon and dhaniya.
Now pour in oil and also fry the ginger garlic, onions and tomatoes and grind all the ingredients together along with coriander leaves making a smooth paste.
Heat oil again and add the chicken pieces and the turmeric, salt and red chilli powder and keep frying on high for few minutes.add in the paste and again cook till chicken coats with masala and oil seperates.
Pour in some water and pressure cook till 3 whistles and chicken is now ready to serve.
