Pineapple Mango Salad

Typical Konkani Dish

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 100 g each Pineapple & Pineapple cubes (without skin)
    • 50 g Green grapes
    • 2 tbsp Sugar
    • 1 cup grated coconut
    • 2 Red chilly (dried)
    • 1 tsp Mustard seed
    • Salt

    Directions

    1. Mix fruits & sugar
    2. Grind coconut & red chilly with little water. When almost done add Mustard seed and grind for 2 more min. (Paste should not be too smooth or finely grinded)
    3. Add coconut paste to fruit mixture and mix well and adjust salt to taste

    Is it a Pineapple salad only as there is no mention of mangoes. If mangoes are missing then a recipe with mangoes at this time of the year i.e in December, where can we get the King of Fruits?

    Dear Ajay, do you mind, if I request you to edit the error in the list of ingredients? I mean, pine apples are mentioned twice, while the mangoes are totally missing in the list you have made. Cheers.
