Prawn Pakora

Tasty evening snack for the rainy season

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • 200 g peeled and de-veined prawns
    • 1 medium sized boiled potato
    • 2 tbsp of boiled noodles
    • 1 small onion paste
    • 1 tsp of ginger-garlic paste
    • 2 sliced green chillies
    • 1 tbsp of cornflour
    • a pinch of pepper
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 egg
    • bread crumbs
    • Oil for deep frying


    1. Mix the prawns,potato,onion paste,ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, pepper, salt and cornflour in a bowl.
    2. Add the boiled noodles to this mixture.
    3. Shape the mixture into small round balls.
    4. Beat the egg and dip the small round balls of prawn mixture in it and coat it with breadcrumbs.
    5. Deep fry till golden brown.
    6. Serve hot with Ketchup.
