Hi! Fatama u tell me for Variation is common but i try to make simply, Easy and nice taste.
For variation ..omit chat masala ,pomegranate seeds,corriander pwd, and saunf. Instead make tempering of rye , limbdo(curry leaves) and turmeric pwd. heat oil .add rye and limbdo, let rye splutter and limbdo become cirspy ,lower heat and add turmeric. remove from fire and add to mashed potatoes.
