This is a staple food of our country.,prepared in almost all homes.
Ingredients
non vegetarian 2 servings
6 Green raw bananas.
1/2 kg mutton (with bones would be better)
Salt
1 1/2 tsp of ginger ,garlic paste
2 tsps of green chilly paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup of light coconut milk
1 cup thick coconut milk
1 small onion (chopped finely).
Directions
Peel and cut bananas in small pieces.
Boil them with salt until soft.
Boil meat with ginger garlic paste,and salt till soft( keep about 1/2 cup of soup)
Strain water from bananas ,slighly mash them add turmeric, salt, chilly paste, lemon ,onions,soup, meat and light coconut milk, mix and cook on medium heat.
When little milk remains ,add thick coconut milk ,reduce heat and cook till bananas well coated and not very dry.
