Chana Paneer

A recipe again for diabetic persons.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 120 gram cheakpease
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • 4 cup water
    • 1 cup chopped onion
    • 2 tsp cjopped garlic
    • 2 tsp chopped ginger
    • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
    • 1 tsp kasoori methi
    • 1 cup fine chopped tomatoes
    • 2 tsp cumin powder
    • 2 tsp coriander powder
    • 1/2 tsp red chillie powder
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 120 gram/2 low fat paneer
    • 2 tbsp green coriander
    • salt 1/4 tsp


    1. Soak chick peas for a night, drain and wash. (don't waist the water of chick peas)
    2. Heat oil in a pot with medium flame add onions and fry it untill it turns into golden color.
    3. Now add fenugreek seeds, ginger and garlic and all dry spices and fry it for 2-3 minutes.
    4. Add salt, chick peas and that water in which chick peas soaked.
    5. When it boils then low the flame and lid it with a cover.
    6. Cook it untill cheakpease soft and cook.
    7. if needed then add more water.
    8. When it is soft then include paneer and garam masala and cook it for 5 minutes.
    9. Garnish it with coriander and kasoori methi.
