Chat patay Pakoray

Iftari seems to be incomplete without pakoray so i m sharing the good recipe of pakoray, i hope every one will enjoy it.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

    • 500 gm gram flour
    • half bunch of green coroander
    • 1 cup sliced onion
    • 1/2 tsp carom powder
    • 1 tsp mustard seeds
    • 1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    • 2 tsp red chillie powder
    • 1 tsp thick crushed coriander
    • 4-5 green chillies chopped
    • 1 tsp turmeric powder
    • salt to taste
    • baking powder/soda 1/2 tsp
    • oil for dip frying
    • water
    • 1 1/2 tsp garlic paste
    • chaat masala


    1. Take a bowl and put gram flour,baking soda,onion,garlic paste and all dry spices now mix it well.
    2. Now add all ingrediants and make a thick paste.( lums should be remove).
    3. Heat a oil in karhaai and fry pakoray.
    4. After frying sprinkle the chaat masala on pakoray.( its optional).
    5. Serve with mint sauce and ketchup.
